Here’s the next timesaving trick for making presentation, that works well for me is the creation of so-called slide-deck or slides library.
(check my previous article about presentation timesaving trick #1 – PowerPoint shortcuts)
Slides library – Timesaver Slide Deck
Every time I create a new shape or diagram, I drop it into a separate file, my handy slide library. While designing new presentation I don’t have to create the same shapes from scratch every time or look for them in 20 last PPTs to find the one I need. I’m just opening my library and use them. Believe me, it really speeds up work.
The main benefit is saving my precious time :). While designing new presentation I don’t have to create the same shapes from scratch every time or look for them in 20 last PPTs to find the one I need. I’m just opening my library and use them. Believe me and start doing the same. It really speeds up presentation design work.
You can create your own slide deck going through your older presentations. Or you can get a simple slide deck we designed. We share it free, so it can be a base for your own slides collection:

Free Infographics Diagrams and Symbols
You will find here diagrams in flat and scribble style, and some hand-made icons as well. You can freely use them in private and business presentations.
We designed also a richer version with over 200 slides. This one costs a few bucks, but I truly believe this is of great help to any presenter:
